wjs, do you have a link to the sites that have the summit's in stock?
What is up with Jeep and their constant changes? You order a car and don't get what you expect. First the nav debacle and now the Summit wheels. I much prefer the first Summit wheels but I'm sure mine will come with the second. If I wasn't a forum member I would have had no idea of the change and would be really annoyed at delivery. I'm pretty annoyed at the change anyway, but at least now I'll understand what happened when my Summit comes in.

I have to say that as a first time Jeep buyer, the behavior of the Jeep dealerships I have dealt with and the way some of these "changes" are being handled by Jeep aren't leaving me so confident about my purchasing decision.

One more concern. I have never had a light colored dashboard, but this picture has me really concerned about windshield reflection issues:

Re: Found Summit online, Cars.com

Wow, that is some serious reflection... i have a suburban and a denali that both have light dashes and i have never noticed a glare issue. neither dash is leather so i dont know if that will make a difference.
where did you find that photo?

Cars.com ad. I also just noticed that in the pictures it is hard to tell which wheels are on there:

Re: Found Summit online, Cars.com

I was curious if the reflection problem was going to be an issue. Not a big fan of the saddle dash.

I live in Phoenix where we have loads of sun, and I've been driving my current JGC which has a gold leather (and vinyl) interior for 13 years. Never had an issue with dash reflection. So I'm not worried about that.

I'm a little worried about the dash leather drying out - so I suspect I'll be putting frequent "hide food" or similar product on it.

Re: Found Summit online, Cars.com

^^^^ I agree....have had additional vehicles with light interior dashes....not an issue with reflection.

OK good to know. I have only had dark interiors so that was a concern for me. I guess it is just the way it comes out in photos.

I have always treated my sun exposed leather with a little 303 Protectant after using leather conditioner.

Re: Found Summit online, Cars.com

Didn't notice the oval exhaust tips... hopefully it will give it a really good sound. the infinity FX SUV sounds great.
