"Freeze" Question

In theory, If theres a freeze pertaining to a currently unreconcilable recall, wont those attempting to trade in a MY '14 or '15 GC face a lesser valuation if they are looking to shed their GC for another vehicle? If i'm a dealer, the last thing I want to do is take on inventory that I cant immediately move.

That makes perfect sense, but my sales manager mentioned that the used ones are able to be moved. Explanation he gave was that Chrysler is on the hook liability/warranty wise for a new from the factory MY '14 - '15.

With the trade ins or certified used, the dealership is on the hook for those so it's up to the dealership.

Re: "Freeze" Question

has anyone seen anything in writing from FCA or other that documents this "freeze"?

as I put in the other 2 threads on this topic - i'm currently buying a 2015, and the dealership specifically stated 'no freeze, there's a fix or flash coming in August' (which I will wait to see before allowing them to do ... as this recall is 100% stupid people)
