Front/Rear Parksense?

I read in the owners manual that the 2014 Jeeps come with front and rear Parksense sensors. When I pull into my garage I have to pull in to about 6" of the wall, I never get any type of warning when I do this. I always get a warning when backing out. I do have the Advanced cruise control that has the round sensor in the front. Does having the ACC option not allow me to have the front Parksense option?

Re: Front/Rear Parksense?

Front park sensors are only available on the 2014 Summit and 2014 SRT I believe. It should be standard on Overland in my opinion. Maybe on the 2015 Overland...

What trim and options do you have? Front park assist are only STD on Summit... I guess they are optional on other trims... My 2014 Overland does not have it.

This, in part is why we passed on a 2014 Overland. They aren't even available as an option!

I called Jeep and spoke to a Rep, who said I am far from the first to complain about this. Maybe 2015 will bring change. One can hope.

Re: Front/Rear Parksense?

I figure they did this to give the Summit more exclusive features to make the model stand above the Overland feature wise.

Re: Front/Rear Parksense?

I was told by the salesdroid that our Overland would have them if we got the Tech package. He didn't know what he was talking about. I should have compared the options between the Summit and Overland more thoroughly, but I didn't want a Summit anyway, because I couldn't get the 18s or an interior color I liked on it.

Re: Front/Rear Parksense?

anyone tried to retro fit the front park sensors on an overland yet? not sure why it wouldn't actually work? is there a connection some where for it by chance?

I have the park sense on mine just not the front.
