Hi Guys,
Anyone having problems with the frost interior showing scuffs or stains. I am a little worried that the light color may not be the best choice for keeping clean. Your experiences are appreciated.
there appear to be many more threads about the saddle scuffing/wearing off/dash peeling than there are with the frost. that said i am worried about all of our "leather" dash boards....as a recent article said the chrysler leather dash cows appear to have been fed with vinyl.
EDIT: referenced article did not specify dash... just the leather itself
Sure It's a very recent review of the Durango Citadel but references the JGC as well....
"The front seats in all models are firm and supportive, just like the essentially identical set in the Grand Cherokee. Citadels come wrapped in leather from cows apparently fed with vinyl, but contrasting stitching helps things out."
I have the forst with over 3,300 miles not of which many trip wer short (i.e. many in-outs). Yes it got dirty with blue and black jeans rubbing on it but yesterday I cleaned it with a leather cleaner and it looks like new.
OK, I thought you were talking about the dash but it seems to just be talking about the seats - most seats are not 100% leather, only the surfaces that you sit on - i.e. the backs and often sides are usually not leather, just with furniture at home.
