I sure hope he didn't put gas in that EcoDiesel! LOL

I honestly don't remember at this point if I had a full tank or not. I suspect so, but cannot confirm. If I did, it was due to the dealer's kindness after the less than satisfying trade-in I got.

On my build sheet it says "YG1 7.5 Additional Gallons of Gas" with MSRP pricing of $0 and invoice pricing of $26.

My dealer for my ordered 2011 Overland Summit in South Florida.....cough cough .....Arrigo Sawgrass......did not fill the tank (just the 1/4 tank from the factory). I used Treadlighty for affiliate pricing which is 1% below invoice and they had a high dealer fee which upon insistence they removed (it is not allowed with the affiliate pricing yet they insisted on charging it until I strongly pressed the issue).

Koons on the other hand gave me a FULL tank of gas for my 2014 Summit and on net with dealer fee they were around 6% below invoice.

So the winner is Koons by a long shot!!!
That's interesting Dan, I think you need to select a better salesman next go around. I got mine at West Palm Beach Arrigo. I wanted something on the lot as I couldn't wait for an order. What I wanted was on several dealer lots all the way North to Jacksonville and South to Miami. Arrigo beat all their price quotes handily and the salesman filled my tank when I picked it up. Now when I bought my 2012 (different salesman), not a full tank and much harder to reach a reasonable price.

This is something I think Arrigo needs to work on. Of course hanging out here and being armed with more information does seem to alter some salesman's "bottom number" a bit

I dealt with Internet sales in Sawgrass (I won't name names - but same as when bought my 2011) but for 2014 I also contacted the other Arrigo's including the one in Ft. Pierce.....the sales manager in Ft. Pierce gave me the best price of all the Arrigo's right away over the phone (note, all were quoting on the exact same VIN that just came in stock). Sawgrass couldn't match Ft. Pierce even though it was the same VIN!

Went the DC buyers group route this time and couldn't be happier...with a full tank of gas too!

Re: Full Tank upon Delivery?

I got a full tank of premium gas. They took me up to the gas station and showed me the new capless fueling system.
I also got 2 Jeep hats for the kids.

I guess that's the question we should be asking, what kind of fuel..

Picked my ordered GC up the day it came off the truck (thanks Milous). Got a full tank and to my surprise, they even tinted the front 2 windows prior to delivery. Earnhardt Jeep in Gilbert, AZ

Re: Full Tank upon Delivery?

hell no... I spent half day test driving my summit on a Saturday, nobody else drove the car, when I took delivery they filled my tank again, so 1.5 tanks. I even got another tank on first oil change, but decided not to since I wasn't sure what gas they where using, I know it was a sinclair but I don't usually go there
