On the WK2 ordering info sticky Milous has the Trailhawk II (my favorite topic as Alaska knows...) coming out in the Fall of 2014.

If built according to the Moab prototype, that means a CRD diesel for torque, front AND rear tow hooks, an ORAII like package for skid plates and Quadra Drive II (which gives you an ELSD in the rear)...and huge, grippy 35" Mickey Thompson tires. There are some silly cosmetic things but I didn't pay attention to those.

Unfortunately for Alaska, there is sadly no lift and so this vehicle can't be considered "heavily modified" (inside joke from another thread...).

Me...I'm going to get one and take it off road as fast as I can!!!!

Re: Future for the Trailhawk?

If I remember right you considered your stock Jeep with OEM tires and no lift heavily modified which is wrong by anyone's thinking. Buy whatever you want and call it whatever you want. My wife's Overland has the ORII package and the the Quadradrive and Quadralift for the really big speed bumps at the mall. I put 275/55/20 GY Silent Armors on 20" Boss wheels because the stock 18s are ugly as hell. I also put the Mopar rock rails on it like the prototype Trailhawk and Trailhawk II have to keep the shopping carts off it. I don't consider it heavily modified. My JK with 37s, 3" lift, AA Rubicrawler and PR 44 with ARB air lockers and 5:13 gears, I'll consider it modified.
Enjoy your Trailhawk when you get it, I'm sure it'll be a nice ride.

It will, thanks!

How did I know you'd take the forum bait? . Course, you chose to focus on two words out of a multi paragraph response and derail a thread, but lets not do that here too...

Agree with you on the 18s, but I kept them as 20s are less than useful off pavement. On my Rubi I actually bought those MW 3 wheels...thought they were nice.

For the original poster, who likes like he's Air Force (or what we in the Army call the Army Air Corps), the good news is that Milous thinks that the Trailhawk II will show this Fall, and here's to hoping for all the best enhancements!
