Re: gas

I've actually been pleasantly surprised with my mpg.

The last fuel-up with my Patriot before I traded it in was 17.9 mpg.

The stats on my current tank on the WK2 are running around 17.6 mpg, about 1/4 tank left.

I'm not going to make it a habit to wait until the tank is empty to fill up. That's where it hurts. I have 50 cents off per gallon right now with my grocery store fuel discount rewards card. I'm going to empty the tank then fill up with that stuff. After that, I'm going to try to keep my tank more than half full at all times.

Re: gas

I'm actually looking forward to the better MPG of my Hemi Jeep compared to the SRT8 Charger it's replacing.

I know what you mean. I used my fuel discount to fill up yesterday at $1.35 off a gallon. I let it get close to empty for that, but normally fill up at around half a tank. (Took my lawnmower/snowblower gas can with me too).

Re: gas

Draft on the highway. I did it just for fun on the highway once and was really surprised. Got behind a semi, and I saw an increase of about 2.5 mpg

Also a good chance of getting stone chips and a cracked windshield along with the fluids and grease that they tend to leak.

I always stay far away from those things.
