Re: How many miles on one tank?

325 miles with a 1/4 tank left (V6)....didn't want to run it close to empty. I suppose I could get another 75 miles on the remaining 1/4 tank. This is 60hwy/40cty mixed driving.

Re: How many miles on one tank?

2009 3.7 v6 4x4, usually 330-350 on mixed driving (it could be better if I didn't enjoy the auto stick on the east Tn back roads). MPG avg has been in the 16-17 range.

Re: How many miles on one tank?

2011 Grand Cherokee v6 4x4: I am getting it close to 400 mpg (in city traffic). The EVIC is indicating 18.1 MPG. The vehicle is 3 weeks old and has around 650 miles in total, so I guess the milage will (hopefully) still improve a little bit.

Re: How many miles on one tank?

Ok, I ran the tank down to 5 gallons remaining (fill up receipt indicated a 20 gallon fill) and got 350 miles doing 60 Hwy / 40 Cty. That's 17.5 mpg on a 60/40 split. Not bad with 2,000 miles on the odometer. I can see getting near 500 miles on an all hwy trip.

Re: How many miles on one tank?

I'm still running my first tank with ~150 total miles on the vehicle but my EVIC is reporting 16.7mpg in a suburban driving mix (idling, 35-40mph, repeat). I'm very curious how the EVIC compares to the real full tank calculation. For those of you reporting your real world mpg, how has the EVIC mpg compared to the actual calculated mpg?

Re: How many miles on one tank?

I'm doing about 300 per tank on my 4th tank. Avg about 15 mpg on the V6 4X4. Terrible! Probably doing 80/20 city/highway.

I thought I would be getting better mpg. At least 17 or 18 mpg.

Re: How many miles on one tank?

Still on my first tank, V6 4x4 DTE is saying 80 miles and I have driven 240, so I am looking at about 300 mpt for the first round. This is about 85 city 15 highway.

Re: How many miles on one tank?

I think this thread is misleading. What is "per tank"? Nobody ever runs it dry. I refill when 1/4 is left, someone else - at 1/8 left. I think we should be talking about MPG, EVIC and actual. Mine wasn't good at all on first tank - 11.8MPG EVIC and 10.8 actual. This is for V6 4x4 QT I, 80% city/20% highway. It could be because I idled more than usual while learning vehicle features.

Re: How many miles on one tank?

The only way to gauge what you get to a tank is to multiple your avg MPG by the 24.6 gallon tank.
