GC Altitude Blue Book Value

Anyone know how to get the Blue book value of a Grand Cherokee Altitude. I went to KBB.com and it just has the Laredo E as an option but there's nothing that shows the Altitude?

Re: GC Altitude Blue Book Value

The Altitude is just a Laredo special edition...it suspect it will never be listed separately. You should be able to use the Laredo E and note the options to get an approximate value.

Re: GC Altitude Blue Book Value

I don't see any of the Altitude specific opitons. The Altitude package is $5,100, there's no way to get that value by selecting from the options in the Laredo E.

Re: GC Altitude Blue Book Value

There is about a $4000 MSRP difference between the base Laredo E and the Laredo Altitude according to the information at WK2Jeeps.com. (the JGC "bible") If you add the all weather package and the security group to the Laredo E, you get an "approximate" of the Altitude. Yes, there are differences, but it should be close enough for estimating trade-in.

Re: GC Altitude Blue Book Value

Speaking of Blue Book value, I just plugged in my 14 Overland to see the trade-in value and its showing me a value of about $36,600. How can an almost $50,000 Overland drop so low in value when it's a year old with under 5000 mile on it?

LOL... if you only knew how much it depreciated the moment you drove it off the lot.

You will loose typically 18% the first year. The prices also take into account any incentives and discounts that were offered for that model year. I will say that KBB has been better lately getting close to realistic trade-in prices, but they are still about 5% off from a dealers highest price. Black Book trade-in values are only about 2% off Trade-in Values

I guess, but that's like saying the overland is a special edition limited.

Also you are wrong Altitude is listed on KBB now. So never say never. Especially on something so foolish.
