GC Buying help

I am thinking of picking up a 14 GC Overland with Tech Package. The dealer is quoting 45,930. This looks like its under invoice price but am not sure this is a best price. Please advise?

Thanks,
-R

GC Buying help

See: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Ordering Information and Pricing (goto page 1, post 1)

Invoice prices are listed for all models and options so you can work out invoice for any configuration.

You should be able to get 1% below invoice by joining an affiliate program.

Others have negotiated better, but I wouldn't pay more than 1% below invoice.

Re: GC Buying help

Thanks, John!

I calculated the invoice price on my Overland with Options comes to 46,068 ( Base - 43,940, Tech Package - 1776 and CD player - 352) looks like I have a bit of room to negotiate to get to 1% under invoice.

Dealer keeps saying that there are no rebates at the moment, I find it surprising but not sure.

Thanks for the help.

If you're near DC (or really Northern Virginia), you can do 7% under invoice. Texas is 5.5% under invoice but with fewer fees than the DC deal (they end up very close in price after all is said and done). Depending on your distance to either of those areas, they may offer you the best deals.

Those group buys are great deals but if you don't want to travel, you should be able to get 3% off of invoice before any incentives in the next few days (it's the end of month / quarter). Good luck.

Thanks for the tip, mxmumtuna! I am in Boston, MA. DC isn't that far 7% under invoice is tempting. I will definitely check it out.

Thanks,

DC metro area group buy

I personally bought as part of the group buy, and it was a very smooth process. Nader at Koons Jeep is great. No fuss, no gimmicks. Just the pre-determined price.
