Re: GC Limited Vs Overland

I think the unpainted plastic trim makes the jeep look cheap when comparing it to Audi and Mercedes even though I know those two are in completely different price points. I just feel like it helps bridge the gap a little more while keeping some extra cash in your pocket.

The painted detail in the overland made me lean towards the overland. I had a limited 2012 and upgraded to the overland because it made the car look expensive and finish is better than the new limited i had in front of my at the time of the decision.
Also the open pore wood was more styling and the seats look better too with the trim in contrast color.
Got the Bright White overland with the blue/ brown interior.

Couldn't agree with you more. Definitely the reason I waited for the 2014's

Open bore wood? I have an overland. Doesn't have open bore wood. That's in the summit only.

Blue and frost interiors have open pore wood in Overlands.

Keep in mind if you buy off the lot good luck finding a loaded limited, dealers mostly order their inventory of Limiteds basic or mid range and order Overlands as the step up. If you factory order then of course you can get limited loaded up.

In Australia they are standard equipment on all models.

Re: GC Limited Vs Overland

Snuke - what was the delivery date they gave you? I keep hearing 4 months or November if I want anything non-stock.

Also, are you gonna chip it? Inbetween Hemi V8 or VM diesel but the chipped VM seems the way to go. Blue Spark has a '14 Chip. That torque is a killer.

Any updates? I've been given 'around' 30th November as well so I'll say the second week of December so I'm not going crazy and gives me time to sell my Lexus.

Re: GC Limited Vs Overland

Mine has arrived on the docks in Baltimore. Waiting for the ship and to be loaded.

Become a financial member of the site, then you can get tracking.

Don't quote me, but level 3 for tracking and level 4 for build sheet.
It says the details under User CP.
