Sure I am ignoring this cr.ppy things too, especially on leased car. It will go back to Jeep and another happy owner in another 18 month Find new issue today, low on coolant....

How much should people pay to have normal bug free car? $10K, $20K or $70K? Who said that it is OK for $45K car to have such defects after 18 month?

I did originally, sorry it got removed. Basically plastic panel are poped up in cargo area behind rear door and I can't place it back. No reason, just typical Jeep quality. This is not first Jeep I am leasing and I believe last one.

Any mass produced product be it BMW or Jeep or Toyota will suffer from quality problems.
It comes down to how you are treated once it is identified. This is where Jeep lets us down at some dealerships (most in Australia Suck).
Love my Jeep, hate my dealer.

Who cares about people seating there or here, I am real owner with real problem. What can you say about? No time to seat on forum lot with special love to cars, we should love people or pets but not metal/plastic/rubber things

Sorry but the quality issues I have read about here (and that I have seen on my vehicle) are those that I would not be happy to see on a $25K 2011 or newer vehicle. I would expect differences in materials quality on a more expensive vehicle (you get what you pay for) but nowadays I don't see why every car maker can't do a comparable job of designing, manufacturing, and assembling vehicles.

Re: GC - same Jeep quality as always

Since I got my 2012 Laredo a few months ago, my new motto is "Hey, it's a Jeep". I say that to myself when it works like it should, and when Quality Control issues arise. The former makes me feel good about my purchase, the latter takes the edge off. Life is short.

From day one tires had very bad vibration. Finally had all four exchanged under warranty as they were defective. Much better now. Sometimes feel a slight vibration still though.
Steering wheel at slow speeds gives a thud sound, but only sometimes. There is no real pattern. Days of nothing and days of slight thuds.
Sunglasses holder rattles like crazy if it is used.
Rear window washer fluid seeps out sometimes, teeny drops that you notice after a couple of days from the streak on the pane.
Drivers seat makes rustling sound, from lumbar support.
So all in all they are little problems that bug. Definitely an issue with quality control. Maybe Jeep should raise salaries.

My sunglasses holder rattled too until I turned my sunglasses around to face the opposite way that I had them. Drove me nuts till I figured it out. Yours may not be that simple?

I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the tip, who knows, that just might be it.

Re: GC - same Jeep quality as always

But I have to say that for a 4X4, the Jeep is a pleasure to drive. My last car was a Honda Accord and it just felt bland. The Jeep reminded me of when i had a 320i, a car you can connect with as a driver. What can I say? It's a Jeep! LoL!
