Re: GC Wish List

Lane departure warning with the ability to turn it off or on. I would use as a safety feature in the event of falling asleep. It hasn't happened to me but obviously it could happen. I would turn it on if feeling tired for extra safety margin.

Re: GC Wish List

A few of the things mentioned will likely be addressed with the next generation platform, if not before.

I'd like to see "rear hatch foot control", electronic eBrake, and AirPlay features on my next JGC for sure. Most importantly...I want a light-colored (ivory/beige) interior available in the Summit trim level. I so hate dark interiors. A. Lot. The saddle interior I have now is "tolerable", but has a lot more black than I prefer to have and have to try and keep clean as well as absorb the sun's heat. A "delete" roof rack entirely with a clean look (no inset strips) would also be of interest to me.

Re: GC Wish List

Seat heat controls off the display and back on the dash as their own independent buttons.

Option of rear buckets or bench seat as in the Durango.

A couple of exterior non-metallic colors. Bright red would be nice.

Parking brake back up by the center console like the previous generation or e-brake on the console.

Larger space in the footwell, maybe a dead pedal.

Competent dealers, dealer networks and service departments that actually give a shit about you and your vehicle.

Yup, this would be the biggest thing I would add. I've had far more poor experiences then good experiences with dealers. I'm lucky enough to live close to Koons here in the DC area and they're pretty good. Every other one I've been to has been pretty awful. I previously had an Infiniti and the parents had a Range Rover, both dealerships were amazing...every time, no exceptions. I understand they're completely different vehicles BUT if Jeep is starting to jump into the higher end market they need to step up here!

That and less chrome :-)

Re: GC Wish List

Change the hood so the dual plenum intake for the hemi could be used to up the hp to 390 to match the trucks.

Ditch some of the metalic grays/silvers and add more red and blue shades.

Add some performance pages on the u-connect for the 5.7

Fit a matching 20 inch tire and rim for the spare.

Add dipstick to ZF and an external filter to trans.

Allow transfer of lifetime warranties to second owner.

Better paint prep on suspension and drive shafts

Re: GC Wish List

1. HVAC as separate physical controls, not a separate uconnect screen
2. better quality leather seats/side bolsters
3. beefier infotainment (laggy) system w/ carplay or android auto
4. fog lamps that actually match the headlights
5. less exterior faux-chrome ugh

^No car with HID headlights have matching fogs. The yellow color helps with visibility in foggy conditions better than blue.

Re: GC Wish List

That's true. And I'd also add... I wouldn't call any of today's lights "fog" lights.

Re: GC Wish List

next gen
1) a continuation of a Indigo interior option
2) hope they don't go with the a "triangular" design for the rear windows
3) e-brake
4)find a way to stuff all of those new airbags into smaller pillars to improve visibility all around
5) DITCH the plastic seat panels on the rear of the front seats
6)keep on designing a great looking SUV, we can deal with chrome.. its WAY better than that cheap rubbery matte black looking stuff.. go with a high gloss.

Re: GC Wish List

Here's my list.

Sensors for rear doors for keyless entry
Auto-down for rear windows
Sport-tuned suspension for non-SRT models
Improved braking
Less weight with direct impact to better performance and fuel economy
Improved (front) seating
External button for (front) heated/cooled seats
Summit model, please no more wood steering wheel
Better quality material(s) in center console

Not a top priority but would like to see the following.

HUD
LED headlights

Re: GC Wish List

My wish list concludes of a dedicated self defense semi auto. My 6 shot 357 revolver home defense gun may not cut it out away from home, speed loaders and all
