Re: GC Wish List

I'll add another though I know it will not happen. Please bring back the rear flipper glass. I had it on my 2011 and it was very convenient for loading/unloading small items.

6)keep on designing a great looking SUV, we can deal with chrome.. its WAY better than that cheap rubbery matte black looking stuff.. go with a high gloss.
Here here, Jeeps are not rice cars with cheap looking black accents and wheels. Painted silver/gunmetal and polished alloys and chrome look much better, were not buying 90's vintage riced out civics LOL

I'm all for blacking out, I really like the look, I just don't like matte black on a vehicle. New cars have all that shiny new paint and some manufacturers still use that cheap black rubbery looking matte black to seal and trim things off. So if on the Next Gen GC they decide to black out parts that normally have chrome, I hope they go gloss.

While I have the max chrome package with my Summit, it certainly wouldn't be my first (or second) choice. Give me high-gloss black trim over the bright chrome look anytime. In short, give me the option for a Sport Pkg that includes the high-gloss trim, sport seats and suspension.

If you would add that to the Summit you would be in SRT territory, plus now they have the HA...

You're suggestions sounds like what the High Altitude should have been.

Bingo ..fake chrome accents trump the blacked out look.
Now you don't need to go to Pep Girls to pick up all the aftermarket cheap chrome add ons.
They already come with the purchase of most new Jeep Grand Cherokee's.

Re: GC Wish List

[QUOTE=Jason911;1241899]Seat heat controls off the display and back on the dash as their own independent buttons.

Option of rear buckets or bench seat as in the Durango.

A couple of exterior non-metallic colors. Bright red would be nice.

Parking brake back up by the center console like the previous generation or e-brake on the console.

Larger space in the footwell, maybe a dead pedal.

Competent dealers, dealer networks and service departments that actually give a shit about you and your vehicle.

+ 1 more: heated lower front windshield like the Cherokee and the minivans have. Make it part of the all-weather group, or a stand alone option.

Agreed. The carpet also gets scuffed, but In My Non-Humble Opinion, it just looks better--event scuffed.

Depending on your dealer, you might be able to get freebies by pointing out the scuff to the service writer or manager.

Those Mr Clean magic sponges work fantastic for getting rid of them. Sometimes a drop of very dilute Woolite or similar helps. Plus you might get a free oil change or similar.

Re: GC Wish List

1. Option to get ORII package on diesel Summit including full complement of skid plates and tow hooks.
2. Well designed skid plate for DEF injector.
3. Option to get some "real" off-road tires.
4. Surround camera system like they have on Land Rovers.
5. Heads up display, especially one that can take advantage of those extra outside cameras.
6. Roll down window on rear lift gate w/remote like the 4Runner.
7. Dual battery option.
8. Apple CarPlay.
9. Any exterior color I can think of la Porsche.

Re: GC Wish List

Give me a wk3 with today's styling but good old Detroit muscle. Trash all the canbus bull dung, toss in a solid front axle and bring jeep back to its roots. Make it repairable by anyone with simple garage tools. Man I loved the 70's
