Re: Getting rid of the GC for a Renegade, NOT

More of a Jeep than the Compass/Patriot. To me, that's a step in the right direction.

I have owned a YJ, XJ, WJ, and a WK2, and I have no issues calling this a Jeep. One thing I have learned though based on internet reactions, many current Jeep owners are a bit uptight and cannot see the big picture.

Agree with that "other" configuration. not bad looking. Would be good if it followed the K.I.S.S. mantra. have a standard longitudinal drive train. Add a locking transfer case and rear on higher end models. no fancy selecterain module, or self triangulation, weather intergrated, uconnected defrost button. no intergrated dash, cameras, sensors.

Coming from someone who is pretty ticked off at Jeep right now, I think it looks pretty cool, and if I wanted something smaller but off road useful, I would be in on it.

The "other" configuration has front tow hooks... Maybe this is Fiat's version of a hardtop Wrangler like vehicle???

Not a fan at all, but then again, if I was looking at the Soul or Juke, I would think seriously about this one.

Re: Getting rid of the GC for a Renegade, NOT

I don't mind it at all!

It would make a great dirt road runner, and would look awesome in my driveway next to my family Jeep, my off-road Jeep, and my vintage Jeep.

Re: Getting rid of the GC for a Renegade, NOT

If sales of this and the new Cherokee help keep Jeep solvent so they can offer the JK and WK2, then I'm good.

Re: Getting rid of the GC for a Renegade, NOT

Still not seeing the "Fiat DNA"... all I see is Jeep, even with the grille deleted from the photo above. It really doesn't look like anything else on the road. I don't get these comparisons.
