FYI for the members, this month the money back to the dealership from Chrysler if the dealer hits it's objective(monthly quota) is $600. This is dealer incentive to move the units.
Definitely use that info when negotiating. The dealer does need to hit the quota to receive that money, alot of dealerships are going after it and will be more willing to make the deal.

Pat, I understand this is an unfair question, but what's your take on the 2012 SRT8 pricing, and whether or not there might be future breaks?

I'm starting to see a couple of WK2 SRT8's sit around the showrooms here in Denver unsure of where that committed "buyer" might have disappeared to? There is also still a hand-written $6K local markup on the window sticker which is nothing more than transparent gouging.

I'm not moaning about price, just sincerely want to know. Thanks in advance.

Each market is different, but here in Chicagoland the SRTs are still pretty hot. I have one in stock that became available recently and we have had quite a bit of action on it.
If the big GC dealers start getting a stock of them then you might find a dealer willing to go below MSRP.
I think there are buyers, but dealers need to realize that people aren't going to pay $6000 over MSRP just to have one. Making a profit on a vehicle that is in low supply is one thing, outright trying to rip off a customer by charging over MSRP is another.
I think the dealers that are asking over MSRP are the ones that are still sitting on them. Fields Auto Group does not sell any new vehicle for over MSRP, it's one of the best policies this auto group has. The one I have in stock is a little bit weird. Black with luxury group 2, srt sound system, NO sunroof, NO trailer group. It's on our website, and I'll sell it for 1000 off of MSRP and I might even throw in slush mats.

Yeah i know, nothing in stock that we like. Getting a 4x4, 8cyl, in a color etc we want, in SFL is next to impossible. Ordering may be our only option.

PM me what you want, sometimes we are able to have our inbound units shipped elsewhere. I might be able to have one of ours that's already in the system moved to Sanford. I was able to order a Wrangler for a guy and after it was already built had it switched to the Sanford location. It worked out really well.

Too bad those are priced so high as that's the exact vehicle (color and options) I wanted but had to go with the Overland Hemi instead. I wouldn't even buy one at dealer cost, but that's just me.

Fully loaded as in 4x4? I could maybe see this for a 4x2, but no way for a loaded hemi overland with 4x4.
