Good dealership experience? Post it here!

Hi All!

I've started this thread (and it's sister thread, Poor dealership experience) to start a place that we can either give good dealership reviews or bad ones. Eventually this will be an archive that others can search when looking for a place to buy a Grand Cherokee. Remember, this is the place for good dealership reviews!

Please, let's keep it simple. I suggest we keep it in this format:

- Dealership name and location
- Salesman's name
- Approximate date
- Brief summary

Remember, nothing says "Thank You!" like a referal.

- Larson Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in Puyallup, WA (greater Seattle)

- John R. (fleet manager)

- 8/15/10 thru 9/20/10

- John R. should be selling cars at a BMW, Mercedes, or Audi dealership. Super nice guy, very knowledgeable, easy to work with. I highly recommend John R. and Larson CDJ.

That was easy! I called John on Satruday, 10/16; told him what I wanted, and he emailed me a quote right away. No dickering. MSRP was never discussed - only invoice. I drove down from Seattle that afternoon and placed my order. John is a great guy.
Thanks for the tip, MeanDean!

Double Thumbsup to:

Phil St. Romain, Internet Sales Manager
Go Chrysler Jeep Dodge Southwest
Littleton, Colorado
C: 720-352-6864

I haven't even spoken to Phil yet, as I'm stuck between ordering or trying to scrounge up an Overland in stock. Despite that, I've already received a quote based on invoice, factual info on packages/options/availability, and updated status on both inventory and orders.

Phil has made it a point to know this vehicle, and folks will seek him out because of it.

+1 this is what it's supposed to be like.

I live in Parker CO. and drove down to The Faricy Boys delearship in Colorado Springs today (lots of inventory with $1500+ discounts).

They just received a new Overland this morning if you're still interested.

Rochester Hills Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler
6/28-6/30

After the meltdown at that hell hole of a dealership that I was at BEFORE coming to Rochester, the staff that Rochester Hills Jeep was MORE than great to me. They worked hard to make the numbers good for me and my wallet and they gave me a lot more for my Lincoln than that I thought I would. Even the salesmen/women that wasn't apart of my deal made sure that I was OK even on 6/28 were I spent the whole day (9am-5pm- No lie, ask Tom, I was texting him during the whole event lol) there making sure that the deal was going to happen. I went there when I left the other dealership and I think my salesman knew that I was stressed out because he kept telling me to wait until tomorrow and get some sleep . The financing guy was great, he worked his ass off to get me the best rate that I can get and to work the numbers to help me. When it was all said and done, I got the Jeep for the employee discount, all of the rebates, AND about $500 that the dealer cut from the cost. I love that place and will do all of my car shopping there.

Central, Pennsylvania

Hands down, a wonderful experience with both the sales staff, as well as their service department. Small, but the customers come first.

This will be my sixth Jeep, and the third one from this dealer.

Washington DC Area:

Prince Frederick Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge
Matt Laroux
Ordered beginning of July, Picked up end of August.
Excellent Pricing, willing to order whatever I wanted, no BS haggling. Even overnighted the plates to my house so I didnt have to go to DMV myself or drive back to the dealer to get them.

Kind of a drive for most DC area people but out of all the dealers in the DC are this was the only one that was cooperative ordering and giving a good price when these were first coming out.

Pete was the salesperson that sold me the Jeep. Also dealt with Steve. Both were very professional, curtious and I didn't feel pressured at all. They work with you to try and get as close to the deal you're looking for. Great new dealership and a great experience overall. The way it should be. Highly recommended! Thanks Pete and Steve!!

@vnbWK2: I do agree, I liked Pete as well. Not a tyipcal salesperson. Although very resistant when its coming to incentives and rebates at the end I ordered my Jeep with him today.

CarMax in Norcross, Ga.
just ordered a tricked out overland for a grand under invoice.
I was waiting on some late availability items to place the order. A few other dealers in the area here seemed to know the product and order restrictions right of the top of their head where the CarMax folks always did a "Let me check on that. We'll get back to you."
They had the same answers it just took a phone call or two on their part. They were very friendly too but at the end of the day the price is what mattered to me.

Jason Baker, Sales Manager Farrish Chrysler Jeep Dodge 9610 Fairfax Blvd ROUTE 29
Fairfax, VA 22031 sales Sales: (888) 825-6757 service Service: (703) 934-1600 parts Parts: (703) 934-1620

I just took delivery of my 2011 Jeep Gr Ch Overland 5.7. I ordered it in July and traded in my 2008 Gr Ch Overland. The sales manager, Jason Baker, kept me informed sending me the build sheet twice a week. This is my 6th Jeep from Farrish and if anyone is in the D.C. area, I would highly recommend ordering and/or buying from them and working with Jason directly, they are simply the best!

Another satisfied Farrish customer here. We dealt with Miguel Z. on 9/26 for my wife's Limited. Farrish was more than fair on our trade ('06 Explorer) and on the price of the new truck. They also found a bank to match the interest rate being offered by my employee credit union so we were able to take the truck home on the spot.

Manassas Jeep is another great place to deal with. I bought my SRT8 from Alan H. back in April.

Huge props to David, plus OCCJ is highest volume dealer in the West. Very easy buying experience, and I'm located three states away. Best pricing on the new WK2's especially with loyalty and military programs.
