Good design

Of all the "station wagons" I have owned (6) and other vehicles with fold down rear seats, this is the first in which I do not need to move the driver's seat forward in order to fold the rear seats flat. Nice design for us 6 footers.

Yeah I noticed that too, really works well.

Re: Good design

the entire rear seat 'fold down' works well, in well, in my opinion. its nice to not have to fold the bottom rear seat forward to fold down the back.

Ditto that, although it's "just," what with the flipped headrest scraping the front seatback.

This is also the first vehicle I've ever owned that I didn't have to shove the seat all the way back to accommodate my 6'3-4" frame. Gobs of leg, knee, elbow and head room -- a real treat!

Re: Good design

Yeah, but beware for those who use the Easy Entry/Exit option. I just started using it and didn't realize that the backseat headrest would slam against the driver seat. I know have to remember to guide the backseat down gently.

Fer sure another inch or so would have been nice.

Yes, this was one of the many surprises the WK2 offers compared to other vehicles, some costing much more.
