Good news..... Bad news

The good news.

Well I finally made my decision and bought an Overland. My dealer found one the way I wanted, except it has the 430N instead of the 730, and I got a good deal on it. I picked it up last Tuesday and the first 3 days were great. I love the way this jeep rides, much better than my previous WK and WJ.

Now the bad news.

Saturday I got the dreaded Immediate Air Suspension Repair/Service Needed. It went to the OF1 setting and wouldn’t come down. It also had the headlights pointed way too high, like the Automatic Headlight Leveling System wasn’t working correctly. I took it back to the dealer first thing yesterday norning. The tech got on the phone with Chrysler engineering and after a 1 hour wait, they gave me a loaner and said they will call me when it’s ready. I had seen this issue mentioned on this site before I bought the car and was considering getting another Limited, but I really liked the Overland so I took a chance. Hopefully this will be the only issues. This is my 3rd Jeep and the others had no major issues.

That "Immediate Air Suspension Repair/Service Needed" is not a good sign. Yours sounds like my first Overland. Chrysler replaced that one because they could not fix it. On mine the front would go up but the rear would stay down (lights shining in the air) whenever it got wet. I hope you have good luck and it's not the same unknown problem that I had. Hope you get your Jeep back all well and good.

I got it back today. They replaced the control module, tested it for a day and said it was fixed. 30 minutes into my drive to work, the warning came on again, but it rides fine so far. I'm taking it back when I get out of work.
