Gorilla Guard Lug Nuts 2014 WK2

Hi Everyone,
I've just entered the jeep world for the first time by buying a used 2014 Overland. I love it and I'm excited to become a part of this community!

Anyway, I want to put some lug locks on since I live in the city and I've heard plenty of cases of people coming out in the morning and missing their wheels. I bought some Gorilla Guards in what I read is the right size - 14mm x 1.5 Acorn , which came with a 3/4" & 13/16" combo key.

My issue is that I'd love to have the lug nut key fit the stock 22mm wrench that is in with the spare just in case. Has anyone had experience with the 13/16" & 7/8" key in this situation? I know 7/8" is close to the 22mm but I don't know for sure if it would fit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why not just buy the OEM locking lug nuts? They'll work with the stock lug wrench.

Whelp, that makes sense. Asking because I've already purchased the Gorilla ones. But sometimes the most obvious solution is the best.

7/8 SAE is 22.23 mm metric, so unless the spare wrench is loose, I wouldn't expect it to fit unless you Dremel'd the key a bit to fit.

Have you contacted Gorilla in case they already know the answer?

The spare wrench is a bit loose on the stock 22mm lugs, that's why I was thinking its a possibility it might fit and was wondering if anyone here had experience with it. Obviously I can't really tell how loose it is and if it's over the .23mm loose it needs to be. I'll have to contact gorilla when I get a chance to call and see.
thanks!

It wasn't intended to be an answer to his question...it was simply a suggestion.

But since you felt the need to comment on MY response, why not give him an answer yourself?
