Re: Got mine today!

SRT reps FTW as the first mod! I here ya on the V6. I think there will be a huge mod market for it. ChryCo plans to use it in all V6 applications

Re: Got mine today!

I hear you. You gotta start that car somehow right? My point was, before I crank it (remotely or sitting on the cold leather) I want to have my engine block warm. Typically, it took about 45m to 1h depending on outside temp. My first GC was the 3.0L Diesel. But you basically prolong he life of any engine by heating the block first. The rest is more of a comfort issue in my mind.

Agreed kinda feeling the look of the laredo over the limited/overland.
Less chrome= More better.

The distance....I have it on my 08 Laredo and it starts for me upwards of 25 yards at times. Although, 25 feet is plenty as long as you are in doors in a climate controlled home/office
Since mopar do their accessories, they should make a remote extender one that has the antenna on it,that can start the jeep over 500 feet, since they already have a big antenna on the roof of the jeep.

On the remote extender it should be able to start your jeep, also open and closed all doors including the lift gate, and also tell you your tire psi on all 4 wheels, just like GM,they have the regular remote starter like jeep for the Escalade, and you can buy a remote extender to start the Escalade over 500 feet from them as an accessories from them.

Re: Got mine today!

Nice Work!

I have a 2010 Limited and I drove the 2011 Laredo with the Hemi that was mentioned earlier.

I presume you bought from Jeep of Kirkland? They are about the only one's who have any in stock...

And man -- you paid for it... no affiliate rewards or major discounting. I was told when I test drove that deals on the 2011's were scarce around here.

Nice Microsoft plates (I'm part of the evil empire as well)

Re: Got mine today!

I love the jeep bro, it looks tight!! Awesome you might be one of the first to have it! Atleast on this site!

I would move up to some 20" wheels though. Get that lookin better!

Well, yes and no. Yes, in terms of paying MSRP, but no if I think about what I got for my trade ins. Also, the fact that it "feels" like a ltd makes it OK in my book.

Yeah, 20" would look just fine on this puppy, maybe as winter rims:-). One thing that strikes me is the fact that this thing is way higher than my 08 GC. At least hood is 2-3 inches higher. It looks impressive when you are close to it. Not sure what it looks like when you see it in traffic though.
