Yea I chuckled when I read that too, those waiting to even order diesel would be darn lucky to take delivery by 8/31. Probably gonna miss out on 500 too.
It does say it must be redeemed at time of purchase. I'll email the finance guy. Doesn't hurt to try. Maybe I'll just trade mine for one with advanced tech package and use the $500 off. Kind of missing blind spot monitoring that my previous car had.
Let us know what your finance guy says. I have a seperate finance situation I found some bank financing much lower then what my dealer offers. They don't know this yet.
YEA, got mine today too, about 4 weeks too late, only good thing is I can transfer it to a family member, maybe I could talk my daughter into a jeep instead of that Audi see wants
I'm new new here, been lurking for a few months. I also got one in the mail today with a 8/31 expiration. I expect to be buying right at the end of September, as 1) the last payment on a leased BMW is due in mid-September (car due back 10/22) and 2) I figure that's a pretty good time to find a decent deal. Any ideas if those expiration dates are firm or if they might honor it a few weeks later? Thanks.
Got mine too... But I sort of feel like Jeep is taunting me with the huge diesel spread in the brochure and the "must take delivery by 8/31" fine print.
Lucked out on this one. Dealer gave me the $500 credit on the 14 Overland I ordered today. Down side is the Overland went up $200 on June 1st. Dealer told me about this rebate today. Didn't get the card yet but my name was in their computer indicating that I would be getting one in the mail. Al
I gotta think all the EcoDiesel print material they're sending out has to be hinting towards something... Hopefully those who haven't received one yet will be included before delivery...
I got mine, my wife got hers - yesterday - $500 each. We took delivery on 23 April 2013. I called Jeep and I was told to call back and talk to their Incentives Dept. (only open until 5 PM) as well as the dealership.
WTF ...how many 40K cars can I afford in one year and really... I am not that desperate to buy 2 Jeeps. What is the point of incentives after the fact? To me it brings resentment ...and not brand appreciation.
I picked up my new Overland two weeks ago. I would be really pissed at Chrysler for the slow mass mailing of these cash bonus certificates if I did not like my Overland so much....
Yes, I signed up for updates and a brochure on jeep.com at least a few months ago. Thought i was SOL on getting something and was going to sign up again.
Go to jeep.com scroll down to the bottom and click the updates button then fill out the form repeatedly, just keep sending them in. This 500 will offset the extra 500 money jeep started charging for the hemi after April 30th luckily I didn't get the extra 200-300 that they're charging for the overland now. I wonder since I filled out the form several hundred times if another 500 shows up in my mailbox if I can use both for 1000 off??

Hard to say what list they are using, I've been on a couple of Jeep lists this past spring. Two I remember were the auto show at the Jeep exhibit and sign up for updates from Jeep.com
