LOL Atta boy... If you're anything like me, I'm not a big fan of the gathered leather and two I like some contrast to break up all the black. I prefer flat leather. From your other pics I can't wait to see what you do to this one!

Congrats!

I was just like your daughter when I was a kid, I always got very attached to cars and cried when my parents traded them in. I remember my dad taking me back to visit the old cars on the used lot lol

Re: Got rid of my Laredo

Did something similar once when I brought my (at the time) 1998 ZJ Laredo in for a L/O/F and Rotate at Patrick's near Rochester... picked up a new (demo) 2002 Overland the next day.

I was the total opposite. I was glad to see them go.

The new ones were always better!

I was actually sad to see my old 4runner go. Like I said before was a big rust bucket but damn was it good in the snow and I didn't have to worry about where to park like I do with the new one. lol

Re: Got rid of my Laredo

In my case I went looking even though I had a 2012 with only 15k on it. The transmission was driving my crazy. Plenty of power under full tilt, but if you just wanted to increase speed to match the traffic, the EPA governed tranny just didn't want to downshift until you moved the pedal more than a couple of inches and then it would downshift 2 or 3 gears. So your options were to lug forward in 5th while everyone else jumped in front of you, or downshift 2 or 3 or more gears in which case the guy next to you thinks you want to race.

When I saw the 14's would have an 8 speed, I had to go drive one. That's all it took. The 6 would have been enough, but I opted for the 8 and now have seamless power whenever I ask for it. Happy
