The SRT mode doesn't work on my 16. In fact, it actually disables a lot of things lol.

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

Wondering....2014 Summit Diesel.

What functions work?

2 wd?

Line lock?

SRTguages? 0-60? 1/4 mile

With SRT guages enabled....the suspension does not move up and down? Does it stay in the last position? I'd like it to stay in 'normal'!

Won't use light show...may use fogs-on

Mostly getting it for the nav.lock.out disable feature.

I wonder how it will interact with my Jeep's Gremlins?

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

From the website, these are the changes:

2.2.6 - 100516: Added a method to reset the system in case of a dash/shifter non-shut down after a config change (left/cruise on/off while on firmware screen) Changed the custom light shows, made 2 and they're more configurable sped up the light shows Added mappable buttons for the ACC buttons or "aux" button set. As of now, they're always live. Will make them de-activate when ACC is on in a future release.

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

In true Murphy's Law fashion, I wait all week for this update and my computer will not let me download the new ZPU. Its a work computer and I cant edit, remove, or overwrite existing program files. Gotta wait till I go to my buddys house for the update.

Anyone experiment with the new custom light show options?

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

I committed to searching the thread to see if the question was asked already but I gave up. So don't TAZE me bro!

I read that you can turn off the behavior by which fog lights turn off when high beams are on. Is there any truth to that and is it permanent or is it dependent on always having the dongle hooked up to the OBD-2 port?

It's true, you just have to connect the tazer to the car to turn that option off.

For that option you can remove the tazer after and it will still work.

Here's the option: Set Fog Dropout: This setting is enabled by default, making the Fogs turn off when using high beams. Turning this OFF will keep the fogs on even when high beams are in use.

So If I understand correctly the update did
1)added a rest
2)more light show options
3) made the acc buttons mappable

When I read there would be cool changes and a Decent list of changes I was thinking there would have been more.

If you don't use the light show how do they new updates benefit current owners?

I'm not understanding what the other two really do?

Thank you. But given this is the ONLY option i care for, $250 is unjustifiable for now.

Get someone in ur area to flash it for you since u don't need to leave the tazer in for that feature.

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

Got my Tazer updated! Overall not that impressed with the new custom light show option. It does work a lot better than before but still (for my application) is not what I am looking for.

I would love to get my front DRL and Rear LED ring to act like the video above. Right now the closest I can get is Lightshow 2.
