Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

What happens if you turn Eco mode off on the tazer ? There is an option in the tazer menu. What happens if you disable it on the 2014? Does it turn itself back on?

Thats for the challenges, not the jeeps. It allows them to use ECO mode with the scat pack.

I tried turning Eco Mode 'OFF' but it made no change - not that I was expecting anything though (I have a July 2013 build)

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

ECO mode is not for the jeep. It's not what you think it is. Click the link in my previous post. It explains that the Eco mode is related to the challengers that have the scat pack.

Tl;dr: Tazer Eco mode is not designed for the jeep, only challengers

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

Quick question, can I have the light show while in motion ?..if so how do I do it ?..
I was reading the TAZER page and got confused finding out if the above is possible.
I know I can activate the light show by pressing the unlock and lock buttons...but obviously cant do that while driving...so is there a simple way to have the light show while in motion ?..
Thanks

I don't think that is possible. Once you start moving the Lightshow is disabled.

I would contact zautotech and ask them. If you do get a response from them let me know the outcome!

Got it, thanks, in the Tazer page says :

Light Show from Keyfob:
Press Unlock-Unlock-lock-Unlock on the keyfob to st
art Light Show 1. Press Unlock again to
advance to the next Light Show. Press Lock to turn
it off. There are 7 light shows. Show will cont
inue until tuned off
(BACK + ON/OFF), or if the vehicle is driven. Ligh
t show settings, custom light show setup, and light
show in motion can
be unlocked using ZPU utility.

The thing is I dont know what a ZPU utility is...Im no tech and dont want to mess with the electronics, do you or somebody knows what the ZPU utility means or is ?..
Thanks

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

ZPU is the program you install on your computer. You can download the programing directly from their website. Its not necessary as the Tazer comes preloaded with everything. However if an update for the Tazer becomes available OR you want to adjust the various light shows, you will need the ZPU

You can get the Lightshow to work in motion. However its not wise to activate this function if you are not PD/FD/EMS. The last thing you want is to get pulled over for impersonation.
