Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

I got this yesterday and honestly not worth the $250.00 This should go for AT MOST $150.00 but more like $100.00. There is no other company that I know of doing this and making it as easy as they do so I guess I can see how they can charge $250.00. "Don't hate the player, hate the game" scenario.

One thing I was not able to get to is the seat belt chime to OFF. How do I get to it?

Why, are you going to turn off the chime, then send it back?

It's also worth $250, since that's what you agreed to pay for it.

I was thinking of selling it on ebay lol but I'm going to keep it.

It all sounds good before you buy it and agree to pay $250.00....but once you get it its like Mehh...

Plus, I need to keep it to revert all my changes to stock when I get an oil change.

You can disable the chime without the taser. What year is your Jeep?

Seems it's a standard procedure across multiple vehicle platforms. Give this method a shot.

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

Curious what features will work on the '17, the in motion Nav and not having the DRL turn off for TURN signals would be great. Our 17 already had a button on the dash to turn the rear camera on and has the auto power folding mirrors when we lock the door.

Are these suppose to also keep the DVD playing on the NAV screen while in motion? We have the rear DVD and while stopped it pops up on the NAV screen.

The only time it would get used would be while traveling so my wife could start a new movie for our kids in back, their to little to use the remote.

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

Wait wait wait. Your '17 auto folds the mirrors when you lock it? It must be some sort of miracle. Only took em a decade to implement it!

Yes, its a feature you can turn off and on. They stay folded when you unlock and as soon as you start the jeep they auto open.

Re: Got the Tazer, now what?

I'm getting it to have "going away" tire roasting parties every 18 months or so as I roach another set of rubber, makes for great video...the 5.7 drivers should consider this use too ....the other features are gravy....worth every penny to give a used up set of $1,800 rubber a proper sending off....

It worked!!!
This was my second time attempting this type of procedure to disable the seat belt chime. First time, months ago with some other procedure, didn't work...maybe that procedure wasn't quite the same as this one.

So, to confirm, I can verify that if you follow these instructions exactly, it WILL disable the seat belt chime on a 2016 GC Summit (and probably every other 14-16 GC).

Thank you Ratchet, for posting this.
