Grand Cherokee 2015 Overland 4*4 with price 42007 VS 2015 limited 4*4 with price 3537

Hi friends, I need your professional opinions about these two deals. In brief, I need a new full size SUV and got two quotas from autopriceshare dealers. I drived the SRT version before and the feeling is so cool. However, it is beyond my budget. so I focused on these two models.
1) 2015 Overland 4*4 with price 42007 and 2) 2015 limited 4*4 with price 35378.
I compared with deals shared by others in AutoPriceShare.com and it seems these prices are fair. The only question I want to ask is: is it worth to pay 7000 dollars more for 'Overland' version? please share your opinions with me. Thanks

Re: Grand Cherokee 2015 Overland 4*4 with price 42007 VS 2015 limited 4*4 with price

You have to compare them based on how they are equipped. The Overland sounds like it's well equipped and the Limited sounds more like less equipped, because a loaded Limited prices out very close to the Overland.

"Is it worth it" is a subjective thing. Do you want/need the extra features on the Overland you've been quoted on or will the Limited that you've been quoted on satisfy you. Only you can answer that question. For "me"...I'd want the bells and whistles. For others, may be yes; maybe no.

Re: Grand Cherokee 2015 Overland 4*4 with price 42007 VS 2015 limited 4*4 with price

Go to Jeep.com and build both vehicles as equipped. At the end you will get a comprehensive list of standard and optional equipment for each. Make a note of the differences and see what equipment will make a difference to YOU!

I could be wrong on the '15s, but I think all Overlands have QuadraLift. Some like it, some don't and others have no opinion, but it a big $$$ item. Even the standard radio might be different.

You need to do some serious research, way beyond asking a bunch of strangers what they think. We all have opinions, but calling them all 'professional opinions' is a stretch.

Good Luck!

Re: Grand Cherokee 2015 Overland 4*4 with price 42007 VS 2015 limited 4*4 with price

Those are probably both base models with no additional options. But even at that, those are reasonable prices.

You should do your homework on the "Advanced Technology Group" option which I suspect is not on either those.

For the record I just traded my limited in for an Overland w/ Adv Tech. I think it's well worth the extra $$$, if it's in your budget.

Got to agree, the opinion is all yours. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure we'd love to spend you money!

I chose the Overland. I knew I wanted the pano sunroof. I knew I needed a tow hitch. I knew I "needed" Navigation. When I priced a moderately optioned Limited 4x4 (Reg sunroof, Nav, something else - can't remember) the sticker was $40,580. When I added the LUX II package it jumped up to $45,000 I believe. I still needed a tow hitch, plus blah, blah, blah. You get the idea.

For ME, the Overland I haggled was priced the same as the ultra loaded Limited. I was OK with that. You are getting a better deal than I got with those prices I'm certain, although I had a trade so who really knows?

For the record, I love my quadra lift but I know of many that seem to disfavor it.

This is not me trying to persuade you into an Overland, just giving you some insight into what went through my head.

Sit in them both, drive both. You will know what you "need" and "want" and what you can afford comfortably. I was honest with myself, I wanted to spoil myself with this car.

Good luck in your decision making.

Re: Grand Cherokee 2015 Overland 4*4 with price 42007 VS 2015 limited 4*4 with price

Or just go with the Altitude. You'll get the overland look (outside) and the Limited base prices options for a better price than both.......

(Before the flame begins)

Or you can do what the previous posters have said and pull a equipped list for both and look at what you "need" and "want". Regardless I am certain you will be very happy!

Let me start by saying, "welcome to the family".

Yep you won't regret going with the Overland and the Hemi. Perfect combination of luxury, ride, and power.
