Re: Grand Cherokee goes airborne

I'm going with impaired/medical. It looks like there is a rumble strip on the right side of the roadway which surely would have gotten the attention of a distracted driver way before the accident. Someone incapacitated by a medical condition or impaired probably wouldn't react to the strip.

It sure looked staged and really (?) there just happened to be a car behind him at that same time filming it perfectly.
Does anyone know where ChevyBoy was at the time of the accident?

Re: Grand Cherokee goes airborne

No way was it staged.....way too dangerous.

Musta have been medical/impaired of some kind or really really really distracted as it did happen in a split second.

Re: Grand Cherokee goes airborne

It's very strange, because if he was fallen asleep or impaired I don't think he would have been driving perfectly straight along that shoulder before going airborne. It could have been some crazy guy or just did't give a crap.

Maybe he was just engrossed in some porn playing on his dash screen.

Re: Grand Cherokee goes airborne

I dont get it...why does the SUV end up driving on the shoulder ?.....it looks like a stunt done on purpose...which obviously wasnt the case...I guess only the driver of the "flying" jeep can tell the truth.
Rgds.

You steer where you look. One of the first rules taught in performance driving school. Just ask the police officers that stand on the side of the road writing tickets. All of them will tell you about close calls.

Re: Grand Cherokee goes airborne

I'm not claiming to be perfect, but damn some people really do manage to do some stupid shit.
Cant tell in the video that's even a Grand Cherokee. Looks like an old one if anything I guess. That guys lucky he didn't kill anyone in the cab of that pickup truck pulling that trailer.

Re: Grand Cherokee goes airborne

He's lucky it was a ramp and he didn't just slam into the back of a trailer and stop, he might have been dead then.
