They sound good. They just don't go anywhere.

Re: Grand Cherokee vs the new Range Rover Sport

Are you trying to convince us that mud terrain tires are important when driving on muddy ground? Unless he had some major ABS / Traction Control failure; the car did exactly what it was supposed to do - rotate the tires and even slowed each one down, one at a time.

Your phenomenal hemi Jeep would do the same in similar conditions (i.e bald tires and mud).

No. I'm trying to show you how to laugh at a Range Rover. That's what they're actually meant for.

Re: Grand Cherokee vs the new Range Rover Sport

To stay on the subject, some other thread here is dedicate to the new short term and short strategy of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) to focus on building more SUVs. Are they going to introduce a hybrid? Or a super/turbo -charged engine? Or finally get rid of the hemi (sic)? Apparently the strategy is dependent on low fuel prices in the decade to follow.

On the other hand, for 2016, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) introduced on the American market the awesome diesel variant of their awesome SUV. Aside from the decisively not awesome price of these cars, I wonder if in the coming years JLR plans on bringing their even more awesome Range Rover Diesel Hybrid to North America?

This is just another example of how Range Rover has Jeep beaten in innovation.

This is the official website (UK). And yes, there is a problem. It is only available in the most expensive Range Rover model you can buy: the Autobiography trim.

That's OK. You always do when someone jokingly insults these expensive, overpriced, depreciating, shiny objects you're so in love with. Someday you'll manage to get over it.

Having a sense of humor isn't something that should have to be explained to you.

Something which you obviously lack.

As the saying goes you must be fun at parties.

Since you so love to follow me around and argue, I've got a better question. Why should I buy a 4 WD for a vehicle that is never going to leave the pavement, or ever see a snowflake, and be lucky if it sees wet pavement once a year? And spare me the whole "resale value" routine.

Read and learn.
