What does the green flag next to the 100 on the speedometer mean? I searched the manuals to no avail.

Its still fully automatic. You can use the paddle shifters in both normal and sport mode. All sport mode does is increase the RPM between shifts. So youll stay in lower gears at higher RPM's for better throttle response vs the standard driving mode.

Good question. I dont see why you wouldnt be able to but more importantly why you would? No need to have cruise control set at 70mph and your RPM's at 4k when you could be in 8th at 2500RPM. Would just be a waste of gas for cruise control.

Sport mode... Holds gears longer and engine brakes on down revs when off throttle. Also the shifts are much quicker between gears.

Only thing you don't get in sport mode is the selec terrain system. Also, at highway speeds, you'd be very hard pressed to tell the difference between sport and normal (eco off) in a double blind. The one benefit to sport mode for me is that it actually allows you to have one ride height for your entire ride, which is great for towing! So my sport has more or less just become my tow-mode.
