If I didn't get the 220 amp alternator, I'm wondering if I even have the heavy duty engine cooling and oil cooling features. Not even sure how a owner could tell this....
Sorry, I worded that badly. That list was what was included in the tow pack for MY14. I do have the 220 Amp, it is standard on Aus 4x4s.

See -2014 WK2 Standard Equipment & Feature Availability USA & Canada, scroll dow

You can check your equipment listing by going to this URL and putting your VIN after the "=" sign: http://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/B...etServlet?vin=

What variant do you have. Ltd, Overland etc..?

Yep, I have triple checked and mine is only 180-Amp for my Summit. Don't know about Aussie builds and this option package specifically, but the Summit comes loaded included with tow group.

If I build mine online at Jeep.com it will list TWO alternators "180-Amp Alternator
220-Amp Alternator" but on my ACTUAL build sheet (both from Milous AND online) it only says 180-Amp.

If I build a Summit or Overland it lists both 180 and 220, but if I build a Limited with Trailer Tow Group IV it lists ONLY 180-Amp in the expanded list.

*** MILOUS - PLEASE CLARIFY!!! THANKS! ***

Thanks!
From everything I have looked at, your dealer is correct, it is a 180-Amp alternator, not a 220-Amp.

Re: Group IV Tow Package

My '14 Overland (March, '13 build) w/5.7 and off road package as the only added options has a 220amp alternator. On the build sheet it is listed directly below the "Trailer Tow Group IV" although I'm not sure it's position is related. The tow group was standard on the Overland.

The code for the tow group is AHXP and for the alternator BAJP.

Could it be that 180 amp is for the V6 and 220 amp is for the V8?

Mine is a 2015 Summit V6 with the 180.

Re: Group IV Tow Package

My V6 has the 220 amp. I think the model makes the difference.

Yea I definitely know that is not accurate. My Overland has the 180A standard. I don't have the Group IV tow package.

I want it though

I'm beginning to think it is all determined by whatever Marlon decided to bring to the line that day.
