Happy with my HEMI choice!

So I've had my 2011 JGC Overland for a week now. Yesterday, I had my first trip with 5 adults and a full tank of gas. WOW, it felt like I was driving alone! The HEMI handled the extra weight like a champ! I'm sure I could have towed a boat w/the 5 people with no issues! I considered the V6, but I'm glad I went with the HEMI!

Re: Happy with my HEMI choice!

Congrats!

I find the Hemi to be nothing but smooth power. About 16 months and no regrets here either.

Re: Happy with my HEMI choice!

I have the Hemi as well and I do not regret it for a second. It is a very strong and proven engine. Has a great rumble at idle. Not sure why there is so much hating on the Hemi on these threads

Glad to hear it. Since the car was full, did the backseat passengers feel comfortable back there or did they feel like sardines?

Re: Happy with my HEMI choice!

Very happy here also there was never even a thought when ordering, very smooth even power. Better gas mileage than I had planned on also.

I had 2 6-footers and a 5 footer and all 3 said they had plenty of room!

Re: Happy with my HEMI choice!

Good to hear you are enjoying your Hemi!!

My 2012 bought in May 2012 continues to give me great power and I simply love the GC as a whole.

Re: Happy with my HEMI choice!

I just got my Hemi and I'm happy, but when I'm on the highway cruising at about 60 It feels like it skips for just a second or two. Is that other cylinders kicking in and out?

Re: Happy with my HEMI choice!

I love my hemi! I have a problem though. I can't stop pushing the pedal all the way to the floor. Strong and smooth and oh so sexy!

Next time out turn off eco mode. If it doesn't happen, you figured correctly.

That's the MDS dropping 4 cylinders its normal with maybe a slight rumbling. That's whats going to tick your mileage up there the longer you stay in it cruising
