So I've had my 2011 JGC Overland for a week now. Yesterday, I had my first trip with 5 adults and a full tank of gas. WOW, it felt like I was driving alone! The HEMI handled the extra weight like a champ! I'm sure I could have towed a boat w/the 5 people with no issues! I considered the V6, but I'm glad I went with the HEMI!
I have the Hemi as well and I do not regret it for a second. It is a very strong and proven engine. Has a great rumble at idle. Not sure why there is so much hating on the Hemi on these threads

I just got my Hemi and I'm happy, but when I'm on the highway cruising at about 60 It feels like it skips for just a second or two. Is that other cylinders kicking in and out?
While I would have appreciated the mileage available with the Ecodiesel...which wasn't available when I bought my MY12 Summit...I'm also very pleased with my Hemi and honestly, tickled with the fuel economy I am getting. ~16 mpg in general rural driving and 20-23 mpg on the highway. (No, I'm definitely not a lead foot...)
