Has anyone de-chromed a 2014+ Summit?

Just wondering if anyone has painted all the exterior chorme on the Summit. Personally, I am not fan of chrome. Curious to see what one would look like with the chrome painted body color or black.

Just one of many threads in the Interior/Exterior/Visual forum area up above where such things are discussed...

I'll definitely be doing this if I get a white Summit:

Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Diesel SUV | eBay

The only parts I disagree with are the SRT hood and SRT-like blacked-out grille section. Paint is definitely the way to go over vinyl but I'm unsure if it's possible to remove just the chromed accent pieces for painting.

Check out this, they do very interesting work to the overland and summit.. In my opinion looks great! It's a similar thing what Overfinch do to range rover I guess..

Looks good but also Looks very expensive i bet:-(

Thanks for the link. That is pretty decent looking. Looks a lot better without the chrome. I am waiting to see what happens with the Hellcat and the SRT, er not SRT but whatever they call is now. Love the SRT but not sold on if the quality matches the price. If the Hellcat is 80K+, that puts a serious hurt on the wallet.

The SRT is a worthy vehicle, that's if your budget can stretch. Quality on all Jeep products of late have been really good, much better than the older vehicles.. And that Hemi sound is priceless😉
