Has anyone used an Odyssey auto battery in their JGC?

Just wondering as the 12v battery has to be one of the most important replaceable items in these vehicles. The Odysseys are expensive but are close to if not military grade. I use a little model in my John Deere lawn tractor. Great vibration protection, made in the USA, and long lived.

If my internet search was correct, it's model number PC 1220.

I don't have a JGC yet but I've been lusting after one for several months now and I really appreciate this site.

Btw, not sure where to place this thread as being a newbie, I couldn't do a word search.

Dan

Never had any luck with them. I had two in three years in my Maserati. Overpriced in my opinion and I won't buy one again. Last test I read, the heavy duty battery from Sears topped the list.
