2014 Summit - Okay I give up, where the flap are they located ? I thought it was the small black piece of plastic under the headlights but no go. Nothing in the book or CD nor any mention as to how to engage them.

The washers would be in the black area of the headlight on the bottom in the middle section. I'm not sure how they are enabled either.

That's how it worked on my '08 VW R32......until I disabled them of course. And they were pretty much hidden in the bumper, covered with a plastic trim piece that was painted to match the bumper.

It is sad that even at version 3 of the owners manual they don't mention the headlight washers. But, they still make reference to the flipper glass. It makes you wonder if the folks writing the manual are allowed to look at the vehicle. :(

Found some info on the WK2 website....hope this helps.

The vehicle operator initiates the headlamp washer system function using the control knob on the end of the multi-function switch control stalk that extends from the left side of the steering column, just below the steering wheel. While the HID headlamps are turned ON, pushing the knob on the end of the control stalk towards the steering column beyond the actuation point for more than about 100 milliseconds (0.10 second) activates the headlamp washer pump/motor in combination with the front washer pump/motor. When the headlamp washer pump/motor unit is energized, hydraulic pressure builds within the headlamp washer system plumbing against the pressure of the return spring in each headlamp washer nozzle. Sufficient pressure causes the headlamp washer nozzles to telescope outward and to dispense high pressure washer fluid onto the lenses of both front lamp units for about 1600 milliseconds (1.6 seconds).

Well then, who would have thought, on my other cars, it was a button below the light switch to enable the headlamp washers. No idea why this is not covered in the owners manual/CD or any other material Jeep provides you with the car. Heck , the dealer didn't even know. Thanks to all for the help..

So I have no idea how to formally "thank" someone for a post . . . but thank you GBJeep.

You're so right bill_de . . . who writes these manuals? They're horrible! I saw the same reference for the flipper glass when I couldn't find anything about the headlamp washers.

Wonder for how long this will work during the winter when I try to use it and front fascia is covered with ice. The cheap plastic covers will just snap when try to open. Not to mention that the plastic covers are soooo ugly.....
