Heated steering wheel not working

In my 2011 Overland, the wheel would get very warm, but not in my 2014 Summit. It gets only slightly warm (maybe 2-3 degrees) and it seems not even 100% coverage.

Also, the seat back doesn't heat. Is this normal? Again in my 2011, I seem to recall the seat back got warm too.

No, this is not normal. Better see your dealer.

Definitely not normal. My 2014 Limited gets very warm, even when its in the single digits. I usually have to turn the heated seat down to low after 15 minutes or so. Too warm for me. Sometimes I have to turn the steering wheel off to for the same reason.

Re: Heated steering wheel not working

My 14 Summit heated wheel works in my opinion perfect. I have commented to many that they got the programming just right. It heats up quickly when very cold and seems to adjust perfectly as the warmup in the vehicle occurs. It seems to even work well when temperatures are moderate and not overheating the wheel in those circumstances when I just want to reduce the chill. I couldn't be happier with it. The OP really needs to have it checked out.
