help a newbie please

Hi all, I have a 2012 grand Cherokee overland and what I'm after is a PDF (or something similar, with pics) as to how to remove the lower front air dam for when the off roading gets a little bit serious.
the owners manual doesn't fill me with confidence or accurate details.
even if I could be pointed in the direction of an existing thread that covers this topic I would be very grateful.
thanks all.
mark

At around the 1:20 mark, when he's under the vehicle. That shows the 5 quarter-turn fasteners to remove the lower bumper/air dam section. In this video he's leaving it attached and removing it together with the front clip.

I'm not sure if the 2012 is the same setup though.

What year is your Jeep? If it's a 2012 as stated, you are indeed in the correct section. Let me know if its not and I'll move it for you.

Re: help a newbie please

Hi Debbie, this is what I'm not sure of, it is a 2012 plated and I picked it ip brand new in January 2013. It's not the brand new shape with the 8 inch touch screen and the super sexy led running lights. I'll see if I can post a pic. I thought the brand new ones where WK2's

WK2's are model year 2011 and up. You are in the correct section.

WK's are 2005-2010 models
