HELP ASAP! Anyone get ABS light w/275/55/20?
I've got a 12 Overland and upgraded from the stock 265/50/20 to 275/55/20 late july. The jeep is in the dealership getting all recalls etc done before the factory warranty runs out. My issue is I got a ABS light about a month ago, I had already put quite a few miles on it, drove from KY to FL and back, plus normal around town etc. I told the service all of this and they've tried multiple attempts to clear it but said it keeps coming right back. They say the light is on because of my tire size yet it took roughly around 2months before it came up. As anyone had a ABS light come on after getting these slightly larger tires?
I believe it's not tire size but a bad ABS module or something like that. I told them I will pay the $20 a tire to put my stock tires back on my rims to have them prove me wrong. Haven't seen any posts on here with this issue but I want to make sure before I toss $160 to have stocks put on then taken right back off. Have until early Monday 10/6/14 to stop them if this is a common issue.
