Help!! I have a 2008 Overland with 77000 miles on it and about to pull the trigger and get a 2014 Summit (dealer is giving me 17K for mine). I'm going round and round with all the positives/negatives and it's making me not see straight. I'm inclined to get the new one, but keep thinking of reasons not to. I know this is a personal decision, but has anyone done this and what was your decision?
I have ordered a 2014 Overland and am trading in a 2011 Overland. I found enough new features and upgrades between those two to justify the upgrade. Going from a 2008 to 2014 you should have even more reasons to do it. That's my two cents....
Im trying to think of a single negative reason of going from a WK to a 2014 WK2......there is not one! Since there is no comparison between a WK and a 2014 WK2 I can only assuming its because the financial decision. If thats the case I completely understand as new vehicles are not cheap these days so thats something you will have to decide yourself. As for the vehicles themselves, thats a no brainer, the 2014 is light years ahead of the WK's and not even comparible.
The only thing about the '14 that I really didn't like, that can't be overcome, is the removal of the flipper glass. But, unless it is something that you needed to use frequently, I can't think of a reason you wouldn't be very happy with a '14
