The AWG gave me that, plus some extras like QT II, slush/cargo mats, DRL (if you're not anti-DRL), engine block heater, and tow hooks. The only drawback with the MY14 is you have to decide on the radio on purchase because it's not interchangeable like the 11-13s.
My wife and I are anti drl so I am trying to figure out how to disable them.

Re: Help deciding Laredo E options

Why ? In the early '60s Greyhound found that running headlights on during the day reduced accidents to busses.

For every one of them saying they reduce crashes there is another study that shows they make no difference. I want to be able to decide when to turn my headlights on, if the DRL's used a separate bulb I wouldn't mind as much, but they use the headlight bulb which A: will cause it to fail sooner, and B: prevents me from putting in HID's.

Re: Help deciding Laredo E options

Should be able to get an after-market smartphone remote start app I would think. If you can wait until July you can get a base Laredo w/o the $1700 "E package"(basically a power drivers seat).

Personally I went with the "appearance package" because I think the base 17" wheels look low-budget and there will be a billion of them. I have only seen one Laredo with the 18" wheels, that would be mine.

I'm probably alone on this but that wheel doesn't appeal to me much. It looks like there are just too many spokes.

I hear you. I don't think they're as fugly as the base 17"ers though.

Re: Help deciding Laredo E options

Thanks guys for all ur suggestions... I priced each of the options and if I added all the options I wanted, its the same as a base limited... The reason I was not thinking abt the base limited was becos the cheapest limited in the entire IL is 40280(MSRP)... I think every vehicle is having the 8.4 and the 20" s added... After reading all the replies, I looked closely at the pricing thread and found that loaded Laredo n Limited were the same... I widened my search to nearby states and I am able to find the base 4x4 limiteds... Hoping to make the final decision tomorrow...Thanks once again guys...

I'm a fan of the 18"s on my Ltd. Like the OP, I thought about getting a loaded Laredo, but once I tallied up the cost and then got into the DC group buy, there was no reason to get a Laredo. Even on the Laredo, I would have gotten the 18" wheel group because the 17's look like they fell out of the ugly tree and broke every branch on the way down.

I know I found a few in Michigan but none of them were the correct color my wife wanted, and a lot of them were lacking the towing package. I would at least recommend you get the RA3 radio however, it gives you more options later on.

Cool Cool congrats! most of those are shown as msrp instead of invoice. You will be able to secure a killer deal. Good luck on finding your Jeep!!!

Why don't you order the car you want rather than paying for options you don't need?

Re: Help deciding Laredo E options

Major difference to me between the loaded Laredo and the Limited was chrome and afraid am affected by the mantra of the '60s, "if it don't go, chrome it" (why my side rails are black).

OTOH the '14 base Laredo is currently (or not yet) available in only three colors, one radio (Uconnect® 5.0 AM/FM/BT), and the towing package is not an option. OTOH some things that required the "E" are now standard:
Keyless Enter-N-Go™
Remote Proximity Keyless Entry
Remote Keyless Entry

For me one requirement is the factory towing package which forces either a dealer install or the "E". (Why do you loose ECO mode if you get the towing package ? Since I only tow occasionally, that is not a good.)

BTW, with the LTD you also get the rear cargo cover (~$140)
