Well I've decided on a Black Exterior Overland CRD... and i'm not a big fan of the beige interior on the overland... I haven't had a chance to see a black/indigo combination in person... but I would be curious what you guys think looks better:

Black ext / Black int

or

Black ext / Indigo int

I don't think either would be a bad choice either, but I did go with black black... I am a child of orange and baby crap green cars...and not that these will ever be classics by any stretch, I do think that for longevity that black black will be in "vogue" for ever. If you are only keeping it for a couple years like me, then get what you want.

Both look good, so pick what you really want. I wanted Black/Indigo but my wife didn't want blue, so we settled on Black/Black.

My advice, see Indigo in person ... it is almost black. Get Indigo it is a unique color that you cannot really get on any other vehicle. The closest is Range Rover with navy blue interior.

I find the indigo hideous ... Even if I didn't, some other concerns I would have include - the light piping ... I don't care for it at all. So much so if the 2014 black interior had had it like the 2013 model year did I wouldn't consider it.

I personally want black interior but we are going brown/frost as a compromise due to the mrs finding the black interior too dark overall. We both love the look of the black interior with the seats and glossy wood but the dark headliner is the overall concern.

I have a hard enough time reconciling the brown dash with the black exterior on the frost interior so I really can't reconcile it along with the indigo. Like I voted - black on black but you gotta get what YOU want. I just think the indigo is hideous and has too much going on. Some find it unique.

Go to a dealership and compare them. Then YOU choose what you like best. Why anyone would want the someone elses personal preferences to make a decision for them regarding a $40K+ purchase makes no freakin sense to me.

Well.....20 Votes are in and it's TIE at 10 to 10 so not much help here !!

Like everybody says, check them both out in person.

2 Months ago when we started checking out the JGC, we checked out a few interiors after the sun went down on a Friday night and were surprised they all had black. Then went back the next day on a Saturday afternoon in the sun and realized some of the ones we thought were Black turned out to be Indigo....it's that Dark.

I am a Fan of Indigo (and like the Brown Dash more than a Black Dash), but not sure it goes with the Black - it may look like a faded Black when you see it near the Exterior's bright shiny Black.

Personally, I'm really tired of black-on-black.

Indigo/brown is very european and I think it's pretty cool. Bravo to Jeep for even offering it in the US.

True, there's a lot going on with that combo, but there's so much black on the interior of the GC that the black exterior works in that respect.

If you love Indigo when you see it , then GO FOR IT. Don't buy it for someone else. Personally, I don't care what other people think about my vehicles, I drive them because they appeal to "me", and I've driven everything from a Ridgeline to a TT, New Beetle, FX, Ti (I go through a lot of cars).

**I think I accidentally voted B/B instead of I/B in the poll.

Good luck!

The thing I don't like about the indigo is the white piping, other than that, I think it's sharp.

1. I would compare the two in person, but I haven't seen a black/indigo combo anywhere near me since 14's started showing up on lots.

2. I won't be making my decision based off of other's opinions, but it certainly helps to get views from others.

3. Thanks for the link -- I searched on autotrader and didn't find anything, that definitely helps.
