Gotcha..if that's what he's talking about then 18 isn't 30...yet. However, how many times has he been for the same thing? How many separate trips? At least three and he qualifies according to Virginia's Lemon Law statute.

I'm sorry for the delay in responding to posts. I've had in dealership at least 4 times to try and resolve transmission issues. How hard is it to file a lemon law?

If the dealers can't figure out what's wrong, try escalating it to the regional/district managers of Jeep/Chrysler. They'll usually send a corporate tech/engineer out and try to diagnose the problem. This way you'll have a more reliable answer before proceeding with Lemon Law; or they may find a real serious problem and offer you a replacement or another solution.

Call around for an attorney or search online. It's easy and fast. They'll send a letter and gather the maintenance records.

I've done it before on a previous Mazda 3S GT and received $4K and kept the car. I actually got $5k and lawyer took 20% but it was all done over the phone and fax...never saw them in person. The problem was a faulty remote start from the factory that melted some of the wiring behind the console. It had already finally been fixed after the fourth trip and almost 40 days in the shop while I lived in MA. I filed anyway, received $4K and never had another issue.
