That's ridiculous

Ha that's funny my overland has one tweeter with the colored ring and the other was black. Really didn't realize until a week later and that was to late.

The 1st 12 months of ownership warranty covers anything. Your Jeep was built incorrectly and you can have a dealer fix it with a new part for no cost to you.

That's good to know. Does it have to be the dealer that it was bought from.

I'm at one of my local dealerships having some software updates performed to my Summit and was browsing the lot. Apparently employees at the plant slap on random badges now with no idea what car is sitting in front of them haha. Kind of funny how this can get through everyone at the plant, and even at the dealership. I know it's just a stick on emblem, but still kind of funny

Introducing ththe new 2015 High Altitude Overland Limited.

Even the 4X4 badge is chrome.

Oh crap you're right. I didn't even notice that and I was the one there that took the picture lol. Wow, so something goofy happened with assembly on that one. I wonder at what stage do the emblems get installed and how it got mixed up? Its weird because its not like a complete Limited tail gate was installed. I mean, it has the correct SRT/High Altitude tail lights and has the black Jeep emblem, but has chrome 4x4 and Limited badge lol. ooops The sad thing is, someone is probably going to buy that and never have a clue. Then again you never know. Someone specifically purchasing a High Altitude model might somewhat be into cars so it might get pointed out and fixed. Good thing is that is a very quick and easy fix. Simply replace the chrome 4x4 with gloss black, and remove the Limited emblem. The HA's get no emblems on the bottom right of the liftgate, not even the Overland badge.

You should have demanded that they sell you the HA for the Altitude price.

Re: High Altitude Overland Limited edition lol

Haha I would avoid this HA. Who know what else is screwed up on it. Chrysler quality at it again. It sucks it has to be Chrysler who is making such an awesome vehicle. They have their head shoved so far up their ass they can't even put the right badges on.

Does anyone else think it's weird that the High Altitude doesn't come with its own badge??

And there's that blank spot on the front seats where there should be the High Altitude logo. IMO, that kills this vehicle for me. It feels cheap.

I thought that was a little strange that it doesn't have the embroidery on the seats since it's basically an Overland with Summit options. Just looks weird after being used to seeing my Overland seats.

It would have been nice. Still, I much prefer the black stitching and silver bezels on the High Altitude to the Overland interior, plus the headlights and body color mirrors and handles the HA has as well. I love the HA interior after test driving it, so much so, that I plan to buy it. It looks and feels like just the right amount of luxury.
