High Beam/Windshield Wipers

Does anyone know what would cause the windshield wipers to turn on while the high beams are on?

Sounds like a glitch for sure. Does yours have the auto high beams too?

Yes, I called the dealer and they have had others do this and said it was some sort of switch that went bad so I'm taking it in Monday.

Re: High Beam/Windshield Wipers

Might be part of the sensors, but I think it is a short in the stock itself.

Re: High Beam/Windshield Wipers

mine works this way: if I turn on the wipers, the high beam turns on. I believe this is intentional. Seems you have the opposite though?

Your wipers cut on with the high beams?? That should not happen either.... They are independent from each other. One or the other should not activate the other.

Re: High Beam/Windshield Wipers

There is a setting in the Evic when turned on will turn the headlights on when the wipers activate, try and turn that feature off and see if it still happens.
