Re: Hitch Ball Mount

What is the recommended suspension setting for highway towing with an Overland? Sport?

Normal or sport with tow haul engaged.

I picked up a 6" for my WK since I needed one fast and the 8" were out of stock.

I would guess a 10-12" would have been better. I cringe every time I feel it drag occasionally on steep inclines...

You must have a low hitch on the trailer side...we have a 1" drop on ours and it's nose high but not excessively so.

May get a 2" drop at some point to level things out.

Re: Hitch Ball Mount

My Overland in Auto Mode requires a 3 1/4 drop for my bass boat to be level and a 6 1/4 for my utility trailer to be level.

The hitch drop depends on the trailer for sure. I was pulling a 12' enclosures trailer. I'm guessing it about a 12" step up into the trailer. Friend of mines flat bed trailer almost lines right up.
