okay, I get it you want us to use the parking brake. it is a good idea. but I wanna focus on another detail in your multiple single argument point you been making.

You have been adamant on the fact that it is in the manual to use it when parking. The OP has posted picture proof that this is not the case on his MY14. I think it may help your argument if you post proof from your manual that would say otherwise. Post page 449 for us from your manual so we can see it.

I know you like to correct wrong info, but it does come off as troll-ish to beat up everyone with the same point. I correct people too, but when I do, I give the correct info and move on. if they have any questions on it, then I give additional info on it.

No- it IS in the full PDF manual, it's not in the quick start guide. I actually already posted a link to the PDF manual in this thread when I referenced page 445. I'm not going to repost it. You can look back a page or so or download it yourself online. Google.

2011+ Grand Cherokees don't come with a full set of manuals, you have to download a PDF of the manual. Anyone can download the manual from Jeep.com

I really don't care if you think it's troll-ish or not. If someone is going To challenge the veracity of what I say and I know I'm right and it's important...I'm not going to back down.

All I did was respond to direct challenges to what I was saying.

I will spoon feed you again. Here is a quote of an earlier post of mine from the thread, with the link to the full 2014 manual.

Well it is troll-ish in your responses, I don't care eighter way. I am not gonna download a manual to a car I don't have, I know what google is. so what if it's in the pdf, it should be in the hard copy as a safety precaution. Your right, you made your point now drop it. as I said before YOU CANNOT FORCE PEOPLE TO USE IT. You made your argument and gave supporting info good job. Im gonna drop it, you know all that is. I'm not mad, it just the fact your posts have a self righteousness about them and have a condescending tone to them. that is what got me involved. good day to you sir, im done here..

Re: Holy smacks! My JGC just moved itself out of the driveway

I'm not the one who brought it back up LOL.

The car has no physical paper manual. There is no hard copy. I agree, it should be in the quick start guide (it should have a hard copy manual, but that's another discussion). The quick start guide is just a two page pictorial getting started guide, it's not a manual. I already said that I bet that is why Jeep has not dismissed these issues. Lexus did in the similar situation posted in the Lexus forum, but they came with paper manuals.

I don't know all, but I do know this. I've brought the evidence to back up my position, if you refuse to accept it that's your problem. You ask me to provide the manual, I do and now you can't be bothered to look at a manual for a car you don't own? Get real lol. You don't own the car, you don't even know what kind of parking brake it has or what kind of manuals it has, you obviously have nothing of value to add to this discussion....why are you here? To tell me I hurt people feelings? They're grown ups.

I don't know all, but I do know this. I've proven that time and time again. I've brought the evidence to back up my position, if you refuse to accept it that's your problem.
I didn't say I didn't accept it, I have even agreed it should be used.

BTW I did look at the links YOU posted. WTF do think I agreed and said your right. and we are talking about a MY14 Not your MY11, I know you have a hand lever for a brake, I've seen it in other 11'/12's. I just wasn't sure on the 14's Oh F'in well. Im sorry I didn't know. The manuals your talking about are very similar to MY08 so ive already seen the crap, I have the pdf. I wasn't here to say "stop hurting people's feelings" I just though your argument needed some more support behind it. EXSCUSE ME for trying to help. I will not have my intelligence questioned by a pretentious prick. I said your response come off a bit of a troll, go look at the other responses you got from other people.

No WK2 has a hand lever for a brake. No WK2 has an electronic parking brake. They all have foot operated pedal parking brakes. I'm not questioning your intelligence, you just clearly don't know anything about the parts of this vehicle we're talking about..

And I said I don't care. Glad we're clear. It's late, go to bed lol

And now that we are clear that you don't know what sarcasm is im done here. You clearly don't know what I do for a living but that's okay, your right, I don't know any thing. im done talking to you. you have a nice day now

Re: Holy smacks! My JGC just moved itself out of the driveway

im gonna say on last thing before I leave this thread. I want to openly apologize to JeepGarage for my comment I said to SW03ES, that was wrong and I said it out of frustration. I am even going to apologize for his trolling, it was unnecessary for him to repeat himself as many time as he did. with that im walking away, it is not worth my time to stay in this argument.

Not all. My VW CC does not automatically engage even though it has an electronic parking brake. I double checked.
