True, but it was raining a couple of months back when my wife and I were at a fancy resort in central Pennsylvania for a few days R&R. So we left the Overland with the valet instead of using the distant lot, and the next morning went to have our luggage loaded.
To our dismay, they couldn't find the fob and my wife had left hers at home. Finally an embarrassed manager came over, apologized profusely, and offered to provide us with a free lunch while they tried to resolve things. While I had his ear, I complained about lousy service we'd had the evening before at dinner, so he comped that, too.
Turned out the night valet had taken the fob home by accident, but for our 75 minutes of waiting we got $350 worth of free meals!
