HOT Borla Exhaust

Watch out for the exhaust tips!!
Yesterday I burned my leg pretty bad on my Borla exhaust. I was wearing shorts and went to unload some cargo after a 15 mile trip and came into a VERY brief contact with the drivers side exhaust tip.

Instant burn, now I have a painful 3 inch sideways smile shaped blister

I never would have thought it would be that hot.

Re: HOT Borla Exhaust

I got one of those once from the Magnaflow on my Mini S. Ouch! I would try and loosen the band clamps and push the tips a bit further under the bumper.

Impossible the way the system is made, just wanted to send out a warning to everybody.
