My local Dealer treats me very well.
I have used them for state inspections and any work I dont want to do, ie timing belts and water pump on my Cruisers, alignments etc
I know the owner and his son sold me the Overland last year, first vehichle I bought from them.
I am friends with a couple of the techs, parts manager and service manager. They let me dump my pit oil in their tanks, the burn it. I get 10% over cost on parts.
They have free loaners for anyone bringing any car in for service, labor is 85$ an hour which is competive.
Not that I care, but they dont upsell, but looking at some of the neglected heaps which come in, maybe they should because the general public dont have a clue!
They let me go out in the shop and I stop by once in a while and see what my pals are working on. Also a 12pk of favorite brews does wonders
my pals have mounted and road force balance a couple sets of tires for me for free!
Anyhow I think picking a good dealer can make or break the experience.
