Our Jeeps have treated us great over the years. We've had a Grand Cherokee in the driveway in one form or another since 1996..... The three ZJ's we've had were all fun and had no problems to speak of.

Probably the worst in regards to being in the shop was the SRT, but we weren't exactly nice to it, I mean really...it's an SRT...it was made to be beat on!

Best Jeep for us so far has to be our current 2013. Fun to drive, we take it everywhere, has tons done to it now and has never seen the shop. With the exception of routine maintenance and the occasional self inflicted wound or broken part, which is always the husbands fault, it's been an awesome Jeep!

Re: How good has your Jeep been to you?

2014 Overland 3.6. My first Jeep. Coming from an MB ML320 CDI, I opted for a gasser this time. Too much emissions crap on diesels are killing them.

Love this vehicle!! Averaging 23-25 MPG weekly on my commute. Have just had her 1 year. 35000 miles later.. I tow a 23' v-nose enclosed trailer, and am happy with the performance.

Minor irritiations
Transmission bump from 2-1 when slowing down, and when I back out of my driveway, go from R to D, most times it starts out in 2nd and then bumps down to 1. Multiple flashes still same issue. Needing new HVAC blower motor already, dealer ordered.

Cant wait to get the snow tires off and get the quiet ride back again.

Re: How good has your Jeep been to you?

I bought my used 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 2wd with 47k on it13 months ago. It's been flawless except for the door locks popping open when I'm sitting beside it when in the garage. Love my Jerp.

Re: How good has your Jeep been to you?

2015 has been great so far.

have an 02WJ Laredo, 4.7 selec trac 242 Tow package.

has about 70K miles on it. Only things which I had to fix was replaced rear calipers since one was sticky, also replaced all 4 rotors and pads.
Other things which failed was the dash tweeter and a gasket in the AC on the filter/drier, leaked and had fixed recharged.

I also dropped the valve body and put a revised accumulator plate on it and loctited all the screws when I did a trans service.

Other than that it has been no issues, other than routine maintenance such as fluid changes, plugs etc

Will be slapping some Bilstien shocks in it soon.

To be truthful it has been the most dependable least cost vehichle I have owned.

Re: How good has your Jeep been to you?

Thankyou all again for your posts, just proves my point that these ARE good vehicles and they are a pleasure to own,I love going out with my wife and our 2 German Shepherds (empty nesters so the dogs are our kids now) to places like Codorus State Park in PA,nice drive there,in a reliable SUV I would trust to take us anywhere, and again,it's good to read posts of others who enjoy their vehicles. My '15 seems to have no further issues with the touchscreen (3rd trip to Dealer and finally replaced screen),my true pleasure is the '11,so my wife scored the '15 and is delighted about it!
Reason I frequently note my '11 JGC is I am so impressed I have a heavily optioned Laredo (with keyless/push to start package),and have never had a problem with anything, sure have taken it in for recalls (one still outstanding for panoramic sunroof, but there is currently no fix) and I have no problem with that either.Just damn good vehicles.

Re: How good has your Jeep been to you?

33,000 miles, and mostly trouble free. A month after getting it new, I did experience the black cluster glitch, and I did have a failing rear passenger shock, which three dealerships ignored. Love the Jeep, but I will be getting an aftermarket suspension after warranty. The shock issue was severely unsafe, and them ignoring it made me wonder if I was going crazy.

Re: How good has your Jeep been to you?

Picked up my first Jeep in 2010, which was a 2011 Grand Cherokee Laredo with the Hemi (26x package as well). Loved it. Then I upgraded to a 2014 diesel that was a nightmare to say the least. However, given how my dealer handled and rectified the situation (was given a '15 WK2 with the V6) I still love the brand. I love when it snows or as I call it Jeep weather as I have no problems getting about and can have fun as well. Will purchase another Grand Cherokee in the distant future as I only have 9K miles on my Jeep.

Re: How good has your Jeep been to you?

We had our first two jeeps ('93 Grand, '97 Wrangler) for 17 years each. And migrated to a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland and 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk. There was nothing wrong with our old Jeeps, we are just ready for the new ones!
